Job Description

Who You Are

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced social worker to join the Children Looked After Team. You have a strong background in working with children aged under 16 years who are in long-term foster care. You are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives and are committed to supporting their development until they reach the age of sixteen.

What the Job Involves

The role involves managing a caseload of 14 to 16 children, ensuring their care plans are effectively implemented and supported. Children transfer to this team once care proceedings have concluded, and you will support them throughout their journey in long-term foster care. As part of the Swindon Borough Council, we offer £100 weekly travel and accommodation expenses for agency placements, provided you reside more than 50 miles away from Swindon.
