You are a dedicated and qualified Social Worker committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people. You thrive in a team environment and have a strong understanding of current legislative requirements and good practice in child care. You are registered with Social Work England and have completed your post-qualification experience.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker within the Children and Young People's Service, you will manage a diverse caseload involving Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. You will undertake assessments, formulate, monitor, and manage care plans, engaging with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children. The role requires active communication with children, families, and other agency professionals, ensuring all interventions improve children's outcomes and meet their needs.
