Who You Are
You are a dedicated and fully qualified social work professional registered with Social Work England. Committed to providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, and their families, you possess a strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation, such as the Children Acts of 1989 and 2004. You are enthusiastic about multi-agency collaboration and have experience in managing complex cases and supporting vulnerable children and their families.
What the Job Involves
Your primary role will be to manage a diverse caseload of children in need, child protection cases, and looked-after children. You will undertake assessments, formulate plans, and work with multi-agency partners to ensure positive, timely outcomes for children. This involves participating in case allocation, liaising with professionals across agencies, and adhering to statutory duties. You will also maintain comprehensive case records, engage in supervision and performance appraisals, and represent cases in court as necessary. In addition to your operational duties, you will promote inter-agency collaboration and support strategic management tasks, ensuring that all interventions aim to improve outcomes for children.
