What the Job Involves
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an integral role in delivering educational programs and ensuring children's needs are met in an early years setting. This includes contributing to daily operations, implementing curriculum plans, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld. You'll work closely with local schools and other agencies to facilitate a smooth transition for children and promote the setting within the community. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and meetings, operating across the service’s centers as needed, and performing duties essential to the setting's successful operation.
