Who You Are
We are looking to recruit a Social Worker who is enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic. The ideal candidate should have substantive experience working with children, young people, and their families, and a sound understanding of the legislation and guidance relating to Children's Social Work.
What the Job Involves
As a Fostering Social Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the welfare and assessed needs of both children and foster carers are managed in a safe and inclusive way. You will adopt a strength-based, child-centered approach to your work, working alongside experienced and supportive colleagues to raise community awareness and facilitate information sessions and training for prospective foster carers. You will manage a caseload of foster carers to help them care for children with complex and challenging needs, and contribute to the Skills to Foster Training and the duty rota.
