You are a skilled and dedicated Social Worker committed to supporting adults aged 18 to 67 with a Learning Disability, Physical Disability, or a severe and enduring mental health need. You thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment, handling diverse and challenging cases with the utmost professionalism and care.
What the job involves
In this role, you will manage a complex caseload covering a wide range of client groups, conducting investigations under Safeguarding and performing assessments under the Care Act. You are responsible for care planning and reviewing, while also engaging in substantial legal work, benefiting from an excellent relationship with the Council's Legal Team. As an integral part of the Working Age Social Work Team, your duties will include enforcing the statutory provisions under the Mental Health Act 1983 and participating in the Council's AMHP rota.
