What the job involves
As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with all aspects of daily living in their own homes, including personal care, communication, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks, and accessing community activities. You will adhere to individual care plans and contribute to a person-centred, safe and supportive environment. Building professional relationships with the people you support, as well as their families and other professionals, is key. You must also maintain accurate records and work various shifts as part of a 24/7 service.
