Who You Are
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Urgent Response OT team. You should possess excellent manual handling experience and be able to work autonomously, as it is a crucial part of the role. A proactive and positive team player is essential, as we are a small, busy, and pressured team committed to providing excellent service. Being a car driver is preferable for covering the jurisdiction of Barnet.
What the Job Involves
Your primary responsibility will be performing Occupational Therapy and Moving and Handling Risk assessments for urgent cases. You will be involved in assessing situations like inappropriate transfers, high risk of injury, safeguarding concerns, and urgent equipment needs. You are required to work independently, handling at least one-duty OT day per week, while receiving monthly supervision and day-to-day support from the team.
