What the Job Involves
Your role will involve delivering high-quality waste collection and transportation services at Chelson Meadow and Weston Mill Household Waste Recycling Centres. You will operate a range of vehicles, ensuring the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials. You will maintain accurate records, promote safe waste handling practices, and interact professionally with the public and stakeholders. Upholding high productivity and work quality standards will be key components of this role.
Skills
- Relevant LGV/HGV driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Knowledge of driving regulations and Working Time Directive rules
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
