Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with supervisory experience, enthusiastic about helping students in Plymouth access education through efficient school transport. You possess a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and have a sense of humor. You are able to work independently and are passionate about providing a high level of customer service.

What the Job Involves

This role involves driving to locations in and around Plymouth to support Passenger Assistants on their vehicles, which may include traveling with the students. You will answer phone queries from parents, schools, passenger assistants, and operators, which can occasionally be challenging. You will also complete Health & Safety forms, conduct investigations, and may be asked to perform other duties as required. This role is part-time, 29.6 hours a week from Tuesday to Friday.

Skills

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Supervisory experience (performance issues, feedback, training, absence policies)
  • Training experience (classroom setting for Passenger Assistants)
  • Understanding of Health and Safety
  • Great communicator with customer service experience
  • Computer literate (Microsoft packages, databases)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Enhanced level DBS
  • Sense of humor
