Who You Are
A skilled practitioner proficient in building meaningful relationships with children, young people, their families, and carers. You are empathetic and understanding, capable of discerning what matters to your clients and planning effectively. You have recent experience in the court arena and are registered or willing to register with SCW or SCE.
What the Job Involves
The role involves working in the Family Support & Protection Team, responsible for the assessment and planning for children, young people, and families needing social care. You will complete assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to improve the welfare of children and young people within a specific timeframe. If necessary, you will prepare written evidence and progress cases to legal proceedings. Additionally, you will collaborate with multi-agency partners to reduce risks and vulnerabilities.
