What the job involves
The role involves managing a caseload of youth justice cases, both out of court disposals and statutory court orders. You will use AssetPlus as an Assessment and Planning tool, emphasizing trauma-informed practices. Collaborating with children, young people, families, and partner agencies, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to reduce the risk of offending. You will also prepare various reports for courts and referral panels and represent YJTPS in court proceedings. Your work will involve ensuring the safety of children and young people as well as the wider community through effective engagement and interventions.
