Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced children's family support worker within our Short Breaks Service. You have a proven background in working with and supporting vulnerable children and their families. Ideally, you have experience in supporting disabled children.
What the Job Involves
Responsibilities include completing short breaks and carers needs assessment, short break reviews, requests for care and support, incorporating the voice of the child as part of assessments/reviews, and signposting to other services such as family hubs. You'll be part of a duty rota and may also assist families in implementing routines and boundaries, communication plans, and positive behaviour support as required. The position is based in our Croxteth Children's Centre and operates Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. The pay rate is £22 per hour Ltd, with an immediate start available.
