Who You Are
You are a dynamic leader with a Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health & Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Registered Management) Wales & NI. You have a positive outlook with significant management-level experience in Residential Child Care settings. You excel in communication and are skilled in negotiating and mediating. Flexibility in working hours and providing on-call cover is something you are comfortable with. You hold a full valid driving license and have sole use of a vehicle.
What the Job Involves
As a Registered Manager, you will oversee one of Cardiff Council's Children’s Homes, working with multi-professional teams to provide strength-based and trauma-informed care to vulnerable children and young people. Your responsibility will be to ensure all regulatory standards are met, delivering excellent quality care. You will also focus on understanding the children's needs to secure suitable future placements. In this role, you will lead innovative service development and implement change, working primarily with residents for up to 12 weeks.
