As an Experienced Social Worker, you will join our Children with Disabilities Team at Swindon Borough Council. You are passionate about safeguarding and supporting disabled children to achieve their full potential. Your experience in both safeguarding and disability makes you a valuable asset in providing holistic services to children and families. Highly motivated and with specialist skills, you are committed to using innovative practices and research to enhance the lives of disabled children.

What the Job Involves

The role requires you to work collaboratively within the Disabled Children's Team, co-located at the Saltway Centre alongside multi-agency partners. Your primary responsibility is to safeguard and support disabled children in Swindon, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care and advocacy they need. The job includes contributing to and participating in a bespoke service designed to address the unique challenges faced by disabled children, integrating innovative practices informed by the latest research.
