What the Job Involves
The role entails managing cases with high accuracy in record keeping and data entry, conducting site surveys, assessing feasibility, and producing plans and specifications. You will liaise with contractors and other professionals, review work prices, and ensure completion and certification of projects. You are expected to challenge what is considered reasonable and practicable, identify defects, and recommend remedial actions based on HHSRS assessments.
Skills
- Experience handling challenging customers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Proficient in technical drawing software (e.g., CAD or Visio)
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and asbestos awareness
- High level of accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workloads
- Strong understanding of housing and construction legislation
- Advanced technical and building construction knowledge
- Ability to undertake and assess site surveys for feasibility
- Current valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Experience reviewing prices and ensuring project standards
