What the job involves
As an Occupational Therapist in the Adult Social Care team, your main responsibilities include conducting comprehensive functional assessments in line with the Care Act, managing referrals, and recommending housing adaptations like stairlifts and ramps. You will prescribe equipment to meet needs, lead manual handling assessments, liaise with various teams and contractors, and maintain detailed records for funding and safeguarding purposes. Your role involves delivering personalized interventions timely, upholding legal and safety standards, contributing to service development, and working effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

- Experience in community-based social care settings
