What the Job Involves
The Housing Supply Officer will ensure that the supply of temporary accommodation (TA) and private rented sector (PRS) housing meets demand and complies with standards. Key responsibilities include acquiring new housing in line with policies, converting existing leases, and managing the hand back of accommodations. You will work closely with market players to improve TA and PRS housing supply and fulfill local authority homelessness duties. Additionally, the role involves procuring commercially viable PRS properties and developing relationships with landlords, alongside monitoring service delivery issues to ensure effective resolutions.
