Who You Are

You are a dedicated and experienced social work professional with a strong commitment to supporting adults in maintaining independence and achieving their desired outcomes. You possess a comprehensive understanding of social work practices, with extensive experience in managing complex cases across various settings, including mental health, community learning disabilities, and safeguarding. You demonstrate confident leadership and the ability to supervise and mentor a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based practices.

What the Job Involves

As an Advanced Practitioner in Adult Social Care, you will lead operational services within a designated neighborhood or locality area, providing professional high-quality leadership to ensure top-tier social work practices. You will collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and manage a high-performing team, oversee complex cases, and ensure timely and effective service delivery in line with The Care Act and professional codes of practice. Your role includes managing budgets, conducting performance audits, leading service development initiatives, and maintaining high standards of report writing and safeguarding practices.

  • Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in adult social care and risk management
