What the Job Involves
This role involves driving the creation of apprenticeships across the council and schools through an insights-based approach, leading the design, implementation, and management of work experience and internship programs. You will assess and interpret data to identify skills gaps and workforce needs, thus influencing program opportunities. Responsibilities include managing apprenticeship training providers and collaborating with HR departments to develop talent strategies. You will oversee the Apprenticeship Levy account and manage a team of Early Careers Advisors, providing updates on career pathways as required.
