What the Job Involves
As an Emergency Management Officer, your primary role is the development, implementation, and review of policies, plans, and procedures related to statutory regulations like the Civil Contingencies Act. You will collaborate with the Local Resilience Forum to ensure coordinated responses to disruptions, maintain a robust Business Continuity Management system, and work with event organizers to ensure safety and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing integrated response plans, leading specialist work streams, delivering training, and participating in emergency on-call duties.
