Prif cyfrifoldebau
• Cynnal ac cysoni'r holl drosglwyddo data rhwng systemau, gan sicrhau bod yr holl ddata'n cael ei ddiweddaru ac yn gywir cyn i brosesau diwedd y Cyfnod a'r Flwyddyn gael eu cynnal o fewn yr amserlen gorfforaethol gyda'r tarfu lleiaf ar ddefnyddwyr..
• Cynorthwyo ar holl ofynion yr Adrannau a sicrhau bod systemau'r adrannau yn gweithredu'n effeithiol ar gyfer yr anghenion busnes. Sicrhau ein bod yn cefnogi prosesau mewnol ac allanol ac yn cefnogi'r broses o gyfeiriadaeth cwsmeriaid a gofal cwsmeriaid o fewn y gwasanaeth, gan sicrhau bod barn cwsmeriaid yn cael eu hadeiladu i gynllunio, darparu a pherfformiad gwasanaethau.
• Darparu cymorth rheng flaen a hyfforddiant i ddefnyddwyr systemau yn yr Adran a chynorthwyo i ddarparu hyfforddiant systemau yn ôl yr angen.
• Cynorthwyo gyda chefnogaeth a chynnal a chadw ein systemau, wrth hyrwyddo ffyrdd callach o weithio a chyflwyno trawsnewid digidol i'n gwasanaethau gweithredol a chymorth yn unol â'r feddalwedd sydd ar gael i ddangos ymrwymiad yr adrannau i ddarparu ffordd fwy effeithlon o weithio i'n holl weithlu ac i'n galluogi i gael data byw ar draws ein gwasanaethau.
• Ymgymryd ag ymchwiliadau, astudiaethau dichonoldeb, dadansoddi, dylunio, rhaglennu, profi cydrannau, profion integreiddio system, a gosod i gyflawni'n amserol ac o fewn cefnogaeth i'r gyllideb a gweithredu systemau ar draws ystod eang o dechnolegau.
• I ddarparu dadansoddiad ac adrodd ar ofynion ceisiadau ac ymgynghori, cynghori a chynllun ymlaen i sicrhau darpariaeth gadarn a gwydn o'r adrannau busnes sy'n hanfodol a systemau gweithredol busnes.

Main Purpose of Job
This role is required assist with the administration, development and training on the Departments business critical systems, which are vital to the running and operation of the department and also for the delivery of projects and prioritised work within the team and core systems; such as critical end-of-year processes, major system upgrades and to ensure compliance with statutory, legislative and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
• Maintaining and reconciling all data transfer between systems, ensuring all data is updated and accurate before the Period and Year end processes are carried out within the corporate timetable with the minimum disruption to users..
• Assist on all of the Departments requirements and ensure the departments systems operate effectively for the business needs. Ensure we support internal and external processes and support the process of customer orientation and customer care within the service, ensuring that Customers’ views are built into service planning, delivery and performance.
• Provide front-line support & training to systems users in the Department and assist in providing systems training as necessary.
• Assist with the support & maintenance of our systems, whilst promoting smarter ways of working and delivering digital transformation to our operational and support services inline with the software available to demonstrate the departments commitment to providing a more efficient way of working for all our workforce and to enable us to have live data across our services.
• Undertake investigations, feasibility studies, analysis, design, programming, component testing, system integration testing, and installation to achieve timely and within budget support and implementation of systems across a wide range of technologies.
• To provide analysis and reporting of applications requirements and to consult, advise and forward plan to ensure robust and resilient delivery of the departments business critical and business operational systems.
• Implementation and development of new system comprehensive specification evaluation and thorough testing prior to implementation ensuring the continued integrity, both operational and financial.
• To keep abreast of latest developments in the field of IT and provide recommendations and contribute to the relevant project groups/departmental groups to provide innovative and diverse solutions and ensure effective and on- going communication to deliver identified outcomes including any key areas of risk

Essential Criteria
Qualifications, Vocational training and Professional Memberships
IT related Higher Diplome or equivalent in relevant subject area. Proven experience in a IT Systems Role.
Job Related Skills and Competencies
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
Ability to quickly analyse problems make decisions and provide effective solutions.
Ability to initiate and manage programming / coding developments using innovative and creative thinking.
Able to interpret and disseminate financial data.
Knowledge
Comprehensive technical knowledge of latest and emerging digital technologies; including supporting and developing software applications.
Demonstrate a working Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
Experience
Proven aptitude for learning and applying new software and technology skills quickly. Knowledge and experience of IT system maintenance.
Experience of communicating and dealing with users, customers and external organisations at all levels.
An understanding of statutory, legislative and regulatory requirements and how it applies to the support environment of business critical and operational systems.
Proven working experience in integrating data to and from various back-end systems and databases.
Personal qualities
The ability to communicate effectively and establish effective working relationships across the Department.
The ability to work on own initiative and within a team, and to tight deadlines. Commitment to continuous service improvement and providing high quality service. Ability to work in a busy working environment with ever changing demands.
Desirable Criteria
Awareness of the WDM, TOTAL Management package & Agresso.
