Job Title: Temporary Allocations & Voids Administrator Location: Sutton, Greater London (with on-site presence required at the new development) Contract Type: Temporary / Contract Sector: Social Housing / Public Sector About the Role Are you an organised administrative professional looking for a fast-paced, impactful role in housing? We are currently planning for the handover of an exciting new 92-unit development in Sutton. The first phase of this development is already handing over, and the allocations team requires further resources to coordinate the key-to-key process. To ensure a seamless transition for our new residents, we are seeking a temporary Allocations & Voids Administrator . You will be the backbone of the operations team, taking on crucial administrative tasks so our Allocations Officers can focus on shortlisting, viewings, and sign-ups. You will also play a key role in helping us maintain our service standards for our day-to-day void turnarounds, which currently average 10 per week. Key Responsibilities As the dedicated administrator for this project, your duties will include: Resident & Site Support: Acting as the main point of contact for residents with queries regarding the key-to-key process for the new development , and being physically on-site to assist during move-in days. Coordination & Appointments: Preparing comprehensive viewing and sign-up packs, and scheduling sign-up appointments for prospective tenants. Data & Systems Management: Updating the voids spreadsheet with crucial nomination and let dates , managing tasks , and uploading data onto the NEC system . Compliance & Key Management: Collating necessary compliance certificates and managing key handbacks for resulting Temporary Accommodation (TA) moves.
What We Are Looking For Experience: Previous administrative experience within social housing, a local authority, or lettings/voids management is highly desirable. Systems: Familiarity with housing management systems, specifically NEC , is a massive advantage. Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage a busy workload, and excellent communication skills to support residents during their move-in process. Flexibility: Willingness to balance office-based data management with on-site support at the new development.
