Social Worker – Childcare Management (Grade 8)

To carry out social work tasks related to assessments, care planning, and the development of support packages in order to promote the welfare of children.

1. To undertake initial and core assessments in compliance with the Assessment Framework
2. To develop care plans and support packages
3. To undertake statutory duties in respect of children looked after
4. To undertake duties in respect of children on a Care and Support Protection Plan
5. To undertake duties in respect of other children on Care and Support Plan.
6. To undertake care proceedings
7. To input data onto Care First
8. To undertake any other tasks as required
9. To work within the Wales Safeguarding Procedures and Pembrokeshire Child Care Procedures..
