We are looking for enthusiastic Social Workers who like to make a difference. The Children’s Disability Service is a countywide frontline service providing care, protection and support to our most vulnerable children and young people in Nottinghamshire. Social Workers will work with children and young people with varying degree of needs under child in need, child protection and looked after processes, as well as care proceedings and support to children who have involvement under the mental health act. This role will will enhance your skills, both in terms of communication, and knowledge and identifying how to protect our most vulnerable young people. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work closely alongside disability support services and health in delivering packages of support. The service benefits from its own assessment team and two longer term teams; one covering the North of the county and one covering the South. We offer:
