Finance Officer (Scale 6)

Who You Are We are seeking an experienced SEND Finance Officer to support the management of SEND-related payments and financial monitoring. You should have experience with local authority finance processes and a good understanding of SEND funding and financial arrangements.

What the Job Involves You will be responsible for processing and monitoring invoices and payments across SEND budgets and cost centers. This involves managing payments to schools, education providers, therapists, tutors, support workers, and personal budget holders. Maintaining accurate financial records and conducting monthly and quarterly reconciliation checks are crucial parts of this role. Additionally, you will produce financial information and reports to support senior management.
