What the Job Involves
As an Electrical Multi Trade Operative at Enfield Council Housing, you will be responsible for a range of electrical repair and maintenance work for tenanted and void properties. Your duties include completing electrical testing and inspections, ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical works, signing off electrical works, and providing technical advice. Your role is crucial in refurbishing properties and attending to emergency callouts, requiring a high degree of professionalism as you will be a front-line representative within the community.
Skills
- Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
- Experience in electrical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social housing
- Good working knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid full driving license
