Who You Are
You are a qualified Occupational Therapist with a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You possess a full driving license and have access to a car for work. You have a good understanding of the legislation related to Occupational Therapy services for children and young people in a social care setting.
What the Job Involves
You will provide assessment, equipment, and adaptation services for children with disabilities in Wokingham. Your responsibilities include assessing needs, arranging for equipment provision, managing adaptation processes, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other professionals. The role involves full-time work within the Children with Disabilities Team at Wokingham Borough Council, based in Ambleside Children’s Centre, Woodley, with hybrid working arrangements.
