Drive the creation of apprenticeships across the council and schools applying an insights and outreach approach to . Lead the design, implementation and management of a new work experience programme and internship programme and other pathways into employment Assess and interpret complex data to gain insights about the organisations skills gaps and workforce needs and use these insights to influence and create programme opportunities. Manage the commissioning of provision from apprenticeship training providers, including the negotiation of appropriate agreements. Work with Strategic HR Business Partners and the Strategic Recruitment Lead to create talent and succession strategies to meet current and future organisational requirements. Manage the Apprenticeship Levy account, income of approx. £1m per annum to fund apprenticeship training. Manage the apprenticeship system to ensure training records are kept current and up to date. Manage a team of 2 Early Careers Advisors. Provide update reports and commentary on apprenticeship and other relevant career pathways were required. Experience of leading apprenticeships programmes and designing, implementing and managing early careers programmes such as work experience and internships Expert knowledge of the Growth and Skills levy including recent changes and the impact and opportunities of these. Experience of leading and managing a team Experience of managing a significant apprenticeship Levy account to fund apprenticeship training. Ability to ensure diversity and inclusion considerations are embedded into the development, delivery and evaluation of programmes Ability to understand, manipulate, analyse and interpret data.
