Who You Are
An experienced social worker with a strong background in multi-disciplinary team settings, particularly in adult services and learning disabilities. Essential qualities include empathy, sensitivity, and self-awareness, alongside a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
What the job involves
The position requires undertaking risk assessments and care needs evaluations for service users and carers, managing a caseload, and working in line with legislation and policy. Responsibilities include statutory reviews, managing crises, preparing reports, and facilitating effective partnerships with other agencies to deliver support services. Engagement with clients and their families, promoting equality, diversity, and rights are integral to this role.
