Wokingham Borough Council – Mosaic Trainer (Children’s Mosaic Improvement Programme) Location: Wokingham / Hybrid Contract Duration: 3 months

Reports To: Programme Manager

Role Purpose The Mosaic Trainer will support the successful delivery and adoption of system and practice improvements within Wokingham Borough Council’s Children’s Mosaic Improvement Programme. The role involves designing and delivering engaging training to frontline staff, ensuring users are confident and capable in applying new workflows, tools, and recording models. The trainer will work closely with SMEs, operational leads, and technical teams to align training content with the programme’s goals.

Key Responsibilities •    Develop and deliver tailored Mosaic training to Children’s Services staff across all levels •    Design training materials, guides, and e-learning content aligned with new workflows and system features •    Conduct training needs analysis across service areas to inform content and rollout plans •    Collaborate with SMEs and project leads to ensure training reflects practice requirements and statutory needs •    Support UAT and early adopter groups with walk-throughs, drop-ins, and guidance •    Maintain and update training content based on feedback and changes to system design •    Work flexibly across phased rollout plans to deliver training aligned with go-live timelines •    Evaluate training impact and collate feedback to continuously improve delivery

Key Outputs •    Comprehensive and up-to-date training materials and resources •    Training delivery schedule mapped to programme rollout phases •    Training logs and attendance records for audit and readiness checks •    Feedback reports and action plans from each training cohort •    Embedded user confidence in key system functions and workflows

Essential Skills and Experience •    Experience delivering IT or system training in a social care or public sector settings •    Strong understanding of Mosaic or similar case management systems •    Ability to communicate complex processes in accessible, clear language •    Experience developing both in-person and digital training formats •    Confident engaging staff at all levels including social workers, team managers, and admin •    Understanding of safeguarding, data protection, and frontline practice needs

Desirable •    Previous experience supporting a Mosaic upgrade or implementation •    Familiarity with the Family Help reform and statutory inspection frameworks (e.g. Ofsted) •    Experience with e-learning tools •    Training qualification
