Social Worker (Childrens) (Grade 10)

We have two Social Worker agency posts which we are advertising for 6 months. You will be specifically employed whilst we are preparing the changes to the Safeguarding Teams through the introduction of our Family Help Team. You will specifically be focusing on working with families who have been identified to require Child in Need support. It will be your role to provide social work intervention, work with our multi-agency partners, whilst having access to our Family Safeguarding Adult Workers who support families experiencing mental health, domestic abuse and substance misuse challenges. You will complete up to date assessments to determine the most appropriate support mechanism for children and their families. You will work as part of a team of other social worker's and will be part of the wider Safeguarding Team.
