The role involves supporting the HM Senior Coroner in investigating sudden, unexplained, or violent deaths, including those in state detention. Responsibilities include conducting initial enquiries, preparing for inquests, liaising with family members and professionals, attending inquests, and participating in out-of-hours duties when necessary. You will ensure all required documentation is in order, assist in court proceedings, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
