Temporary Accommodation Placement Officer

In this role, you will prevent, arrange and manage temporary accommodation placements for households experiencing homelessness. Duties:

Negotiate with evicting households to prevent the need for temporary accommodation

Arrange and manage temporary accommodation placements and transfers for homeless households.

Work with residents, landlords, providers and partners to secure suitable housing.

Ensure placements are safe, compliant and cost effective.

Manage competing demands while delivering a customer-focused service.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in housing, property, homelessness or customer focused services.

Experience managing competing priorities in a busy environment.

Experience building relationships with customers and external partners.

Experience providing high quality support to people in challenging circumstances.

Experience of using IT systems and data bases to ensure accurate recording
