You should have strong communication skills for liaising with residents and team members and be adept at managing tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
What the Job Involves
You will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all common areas within a housing estate, following a local work programme. This includes sweeping, washing, and cleaning staircases, entrances, foyers, courtyards, car parks, and refuse storage rooms. You will rotate and manage refuse containers to prevent overspills, address blockages, clean litter bins, and remove graffiti within specified timescales. Additionally, you will liaise with residents and other services during emergencies and provide support to the estate bulk-waste collection team.
