What the job involves
The role entails conducting comprehensive assessments to identify service user and carer needs, involving carers in the process, and managing a clinical caseload independently. You will participate in regular clinical supervision and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants. The role requires setting SMART goals for therapeutic interventions, promoting the use of Assistive Technology, and fostering collaborative working relationships with health and social care colleagues. Responsibilities also include supporting the development of assessment and intervention programs within community settings, safely prescribing and monitoring equipment, and participating in continuous professional development activities.
