What the Job Involves

The Family Support Worker role involves assisting qualified social workers in supporting families subject to statutory procedures. Responsibilities include contributing to assessments and care packages, engaging with difficult-to-reach families, providing practical and domestic-based support, delivering Family Time sessions, preparing reports for court proceedings, and collaborating with various agencies to ensure effective service delivery. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a weekly rota.
