Who You Are
A qualified social worker with strong experience in social care, you will have the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. You are capable of managing complex cases, working with various agencies, and have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines. You possess excellent communication skills and can work independently, handle crises, and build effective relationships with service users, families, and professional colleagues.
What the Job Involves
This role involves undertaking assessments of risk and care needs, managing a caseload with varying complexity, and ensuring statutory reviews and compliance with policy and procedures. You will be responsible for engaging with service users, setting up care plans, and making decisions regarding their care. The role includes supervising unqualified staff or students and acting as an appropriate adult in complex cases. You will work closely with other agencies, develop service provisions, and build on existing knowledge to enhance service delivery.
