Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with substantial post-qualifying experience in a statutory children social care setting. Your practice includes the capability to work autonomously and manage complex situations effectively. You may also have a Practice Educators Award or be expected to obtain it within the first year of employment.
What the Job Involves
This role requires providing a comprehensive and effective integrated social work service within a resilience framework, addressing complex situations promptly and in accordance with statutory guidelines. It involves deputizing for the line manager when needed, taking a lead role in specialist areas, and managing safeguarding and permanence measures in complex cases. Additionally, you will support and mentor less experienced social workers to help children reach their full potential.
