What the job involves
This role involves managing a varied caseload of Child in Need, Children in need of Protection, Public Law Outline, and care proceedings, focusing on children up to the age of 18. The job requires significant experience within Child Protection and Court proceedings teams and involves managing complex safeguarding and permanence cases.
Skills
- Recognised Social Work degree (BA/MA or equivalent)
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Senior Practitioner
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Significant experience within Child Protection and Court proceedings teams
- Strong experience managing complex safeguarding and permanence cases
