An experienced technology professional with extensive experience in bus systems and technologies, particularly within the bus industry or local transport authorities. You are adept at managing complex projects and working with various stakeholders, both remotely and in-office.
What the job involves
You'll work closely with bus teams across the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (YNYCA) and partner councils to assess and transition existing bus-related transport systems into the Combined Authority. This includes systems for real-time passenger information, timetables, ticketing, and bus service management. You'll identify cost requirements for these systems, propose updates where necessary, and ensure a seamless transition plan is implemented by March 2027.
