CSW Senior Social Worker/Specialist Social Worker (Pledge)

Who You Are

This role is for a Senior Social Worker with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience. You must have completed your ASYE and have at least 3 years in a permanent social worker role, particularly in an Assessment Team.

What the job involves

You will join the Assessment and Intervention Service at Sumner House, working within an Assessment Team that operates on a rota every 5 weeks. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking assessments of children and their families
• Conducting home visits to perform direct work with children
• Carrying out section 47 enquiries
• Conducting risk assessment and safety planning

You are expected to attend the office at least 3 days a week.

Skills

• 5+ years post-qualified experience
