Who You Are
You are an experienced Employment Specialist capable of managing a caseload and working with young people and residents facing complex barriers to employment. You should have direct experience supporting individuals into employment, education, or training, and confidence in working with participants with additional needs such as SEND/LDD, youth justice experience, or risk of homelessness.
What the job involves
The role is focused on supporting the Trailblazer programme by providing targeted employment, education, and training support to young people and residents with barriers to work. You will independently manage a caseload, offering information, advice, guidance, practical support, and progression planning. Key responsibilities include building a caseload, conducting outreach, providing one-to-one support, maintaining detailed records, liaising with multi-agency partners, and engaging with the community to identify and overcome barriers to employment for participants.
