What the Job Involves
The Housing Solutions Officer will deliver a comprehensive, person-centered housing advice and homelessness prevention service in accordance with the Housing (Wales) Act 2014. The postholder will focus on early intervention, working proactively with households to prevent homelessness and promote sustainable long-term housing outcomes. Responsibilities include providing tailored housing advice, negotiating with landlords and family members, and supporting clients to sustain accommodation. This role also involves assessing housing register applications and ensuring compliance with legal duties.
