This position is ideal for those returning to work after a break or for those who are partially retired and seeking a rewarding part-time role during term time. It's also an excellent opportunity for anyone who wishes to gain experience in the educational sector.
What the job involves
As a Passenger Assistant, you will support children and young people in traveling safely to and from school or college. This involves working with our Home-to-School transport service, which caters to around 1,000 students using minibuses and taxis. You will ensure the safety and comfort of students during their journey, cover for other Passenger Assistants when unavailable, and work closely with drivers and schools to ensure a smooth travel experience. The role requires flexibility, as cover can range from half a day to longer periods.
