Who You Are
The role seeks a social worker with a recognized and current professional Social Work qualification and registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). The candidate should have prior experience in a social care, health care, or education working environment, with a preference for client group experience in a relevant setting and multi-disciplinary working.
What the Job Involves
The MASH Social Worker position involves working in a multi-agency setting, taking referrals about vulnerable children and their families, and gathering relevant information to inform analysis of risk or need. The social worker will collaborate with a co-located team of professionals to carry out thorough assessments and make informed decisions in accordance with statutory guidance and Wokingham Child Protection Procedures. Responsibilities also include updating records, ensuring family involvement, developing relationships with external partners, and providing advice and support when necessary.
