Street Works Inspector (Level 6)

Who You Are As a Network Inspection Officer, you are an integral part of the Network Management team, tasked with ensuring the effective application of road and streetworks legislation within Slough Borough. You will exhibit excellent coordination and inspection skills, dealing adeptly with public inquiries and enforcing highway law.

What the job involves Your primary responsibility is to facilitate greater control of all works activities on the road network to minimize disruption and maintain traffic flow. This includes completing inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and supporting legal actions when necessary. You will also engage with various stakeholders, including statutory undertakers and the public, to coordinate highway activities and assess permit applications.
