Youth Training Tutor (Grade 6)

Who You Are

You are an educator with a minimum NVQ level 4 or equivalent, including PTLLS, IAG, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification and registration with the Education Workforce Council. You possess a strong understanding of the education sector and professional boundaries, particularly in working with challenging, vulnerable young people. Your experience includes occupational competence in educational pathways, inter-agency partnership, and coordinating programs, with skills in developing course material.

What the Job Involves

This role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating youth training programs to promote positive progression of learners. You will recruit learners, conduct inductions, deliver personal development workshops, and ensure the completion of qualifications according to program specifications. Collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining positive relationships with learners is essential. You will manage performance targets and complete learner reviews, with a focus on safeguarding and ensuring equality and safety policies are upheld.
