Who You Are
An experienced social worker with the ability to lead and guide a small team within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based at Cardiff Bay Police Station. You excel in managing a fast-paced workload, engaging in timely risk assessment, and fostering relationships with partner agencies.
What the job involves
As a Principal Social Worker, you will conduct timely risk assessments of referrals to the MASH and identify individuals at risk through multi-agency strategy discussions. You will lead a small sub-team, handle staff development, and supervise high-risk strategy meetings. Working closely with the team manager, you will support tasks such as allocation and authorization of social worker assessments and partake in service development and task force groups.
