You are compassionate and attentive, skilled in assisting children and young people with specific and complex needs during their transportation. You prioritize the welfare and safety of the children and are able to responsibly manage handovers to authorized school staff or parents and carers.
What the job involves
Your primary duty is to assist children and young people during their travels to and from educational establishments. This involves being aware of each child's needs, ensuring their safe transportation, and maintaining professional boundaries. You will also handle incidents during transit, communicate effectively with parents and school staff, and adhere to safety procedures and policies.
